    Santa Catalina is a quiet surf village on the Pacific Coast of Panama. People come here for one of two reasons, to surf or to dive. Our reason for making the trek out to this small town was the prospect of finding jobs as scuba diving instructors. Santa Catalina is the jumping off point for day tours to Coiba National Park, a group of islands that is part of the same underwater mountain chain as Cocos Islands, Galapagos and Malpelo.
